11. Blog idea: The Fucking Jazz Blog

Motherfucking jazz. Fuck! It’s always getting in my NPR with its sucky awfulness. Jesus on a stick! And by jazz I mean the cancerous abomination of avant garde jazz and its ilk.

The Jazz Blog is a bile blog about sucky jazz. Categories include free jazz, cool jazz, hard jazz, hard bop, and (worst of all by far…) smooth jazz. (Seriously, smooth jazz is the worst “music” in the world. Fuck Kenny G. Fuck him straight to fucking hell. Hmm… I see from his wikipedia entry that he’s also a fucking pilot. He’s like the anti-Gary Numan.) Jazz Blog has a lot of extemporaneous swearing, and is probably not safe for work.

The danger of the Jazz Blog is that by listening to so much jazz, I might eventually come to enjoy jazz.

Just kidding. There is no danger of that. Fucking jazz.

10. Blog idea: Unfinished Crossword Blog

The Unfinished Crossword blog is a blog where each post is a partially filled in crossword puzzle that someone got stuck on. Some of the filled in answers are wrong.

The comments are mostly mockery.

9: Blog idea: How to be an Anarchist

The How to be an Anarchist blog covers guerilla toilet paper activism, detournment and the Situationist International in the context of New Seasons bathrooms, the price of toilet paper and how it does not reflect the true cost of toilet paper from a CrimethInc perspective, why the police demand people pay [for toilet paper], how the toilet paper industry is just another group of capitalist thugs out prop up outdated gender stereotypes, and why Guy Debord doesn’t poop.

It also offers practical tips for toilet paper “theft”, and rationalizations for why it isn’t theft. (It’s not like they charge for it.)

You are never more free than when you are alone in a public restroom. Seize your freedom. And by “your” I mean “someone else’s” and by “freedom”, I mean “toilet paper”.

8. Blog idea: Lost sock blog

The lost sock blog covers lost socks. I take pictures of my socks, and post them as they are lost. With commentary, and updates if the sock gets found.

Thanks to Becky

7. Blog idea: How to Eat Vegetables Blog

The How to Eat Vegetables Blog is a blog about how to eat vegetables for people who don’t like to eat vegetables. I was a picky eater as a kid. I was a picky eater as an adult. I hated vegetables. Eventually, though, I realized that I hadn’t eaten an onion in twenty years, and maybe it wasn’t a good idea to rely on the opinion of a ten year old in matters of taste.

Blog posts cover trying various vegetables for the first time, shopping for vegetables, simple and easy recipes for open-minded soon-to-be-former vegetable haters.

6. Blog idea: Other people’s cabinets.

Other People’s Cabinets blog. When I go to someone’s house, I open up one of their cabinets and take a picture. Later, I post the picture to my blog and comment on the contents. Blog commenters are encouraged to add their own snarky comments. Categories include: Spam, expired food, cabinet hell, wtf, medicine, and well-organized.

Thanks to Becky!
